If you are currently using Windows XP to run your audio and video recording systems, the days of support are coming to an end.
Tuesday, April 8, 2014 marks the end of an area for Windows XP. After nearly 13 years, the days of XP will be no longer. You won’t be able to find assistance, support or updates from Microsoft any longer after the 8th.
While that doesn’t mean your software will become inoperable, what it does mean is that your risk of damage, viruses, or other issues will increase due the fact that your system will be more susceptible to threats these updates and regular support would mitigate.
And for the short term, you may not have big issues with compatibility between XP and 8.1, but as newer versions become available, these compatibility issues are likely to increase.
Now is the time to upgrade your iRecord equipment to Windows 8.1 or 7 (although we recommend the newer version).
We want to ensure that your system if fully optimized and that can harness all the great features the newest version of Windows allows while ensuring your current work isn’t exposed to unnecessary threats and future incompatibilities.
Contact an iRecord representative today to learn more. We would be happy to walk you through the process of the upgrade!
