Additionally, LXCAT can assist investigations where a traditional polygraph is not readily available, or the required number of credibility assessment tests exceeds available polygraph resources. Positive results on an LXCAT test are easily followed up with traditional polygraph testing in a successive hurdles model or with additional investigative resources. LXCAT is powered by Lafayette Instrument’s polygraph industry leading LXEdge software, allowing users to easily score tests via the software’s intuitive interface.
Through strategically placed inputs, LXCAT records and analyzes physiological responses to questions by transmitting the data to a Windows laptop or tablet for analysis.
LXCAT employs the same quick-release connectors as the Lafayette LX6 polygraph system and features medical grade isolation with an increased EDA range and optimized PLE constant.
LXCAT is an expedient method for screening individuals by taking advantage of a highly standardized test with structured automation of both test administration and data analysis.
